Entries are being invited for the Awards for Sustainable Communities 2005, ahead of an entry deadline of 5th September. The awards are sponsored by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister (ODPM) and seek to recognise and reward people, projects and initiatives that contribute to making towns, cities and communities better places in which to live and work. An awards ceremony will be held in February 2005. The awards are administered on behalf of the ODPM by The British Urban Regeneration Association (BURA). Entries are invited for projects and initiatives of all types and sizes that are contributing to making towns, cities and rural communities in England better places in which to live and work. Anyone, including those directly connected with the project or initiative, may submit an entry.
