Deadline Extended for Scottish Software Awards 2005

The deadline for entries to the Scottish Software Awards 2005 has been extended to 16th September. The awards are open to Scottish-based software companies and offer them the opportunity to showcase their work and contribution to the industry. The awards ceremony will take place at Airth Castle on 6th October 2005, and will form the centrepiece of the Scottish Software Industry Conference at the same venue. Speaking about the awards, George Boad, Chief Executive of organisers Targeting Innovation Ltd, said: "Targeting Innovation Ltd is delighted to announce that the 2005 Scottish Software Awards Ceremony will form the centerpiece of the Scottish Software Industry Conference which will take place on the sixth of October at Airth Castle. We intend to build on the success of the last two years and look forward to working with Scottish Enterprise and ScotlandIS to deliver an event that highlights best practice in the sector and promotes the industry to the wider business community. Through bringing together previously disparate events we hope to create a memorable event that will engage and deliver benefits across the software industry."
